  1. I hope you feel better now 🙂 You’re only human don’t forget!! I love your blog I didn’t see your old theme but I’m liking this new one! Only started my blog just over 3 months ago so I’m still new to this haha. But post when you feel like it! I’m sure your posts will be a enjoyable read whenever you put them up. x

    1. Thank you! I wouldn’t say things were back to normal completely, but I’m taking things day-by-day which is definitely helping. I’m glad you like my new theme! Good luck with your journey.

  2. Welcome back! 🙂
I totally get where you’re coming from. When you’re head is full of other things a blog can quickly become such a dreaded thing that only fills your life with worries and deadlines. For me having a fresh start and a new theme has always done wonders for my blog motivation, I hope it does so for you too!

P.S. I love your new logo!

    1. Thank you!
Yeah, it definitely can become difficult to keep up! I’m glad I’m not the only one who finds sanctuary in giving my blog a makeover. Fingers crossed it’ll give me the motivation I need; it certainly seems to be working so far!
Thank you so much. I definitely put more effort into it than I did the first time ’round.

    1. I’ve seen a lot of new bloggers in the bloggersphere recently. It’s nice to see it has grown while I’ve been gone! I love meeting new bloggers. Thank you. I hope you enjoy my future content as much as I’ll enjoy writing it.

    1. Thank you so much. I’m glad I’m not the only one who loves stationary. I have a few haul posts on my blog if you wanted to check out any of my other content. Thank you for the compliment on my blog, too.

  3. Love the new logo!!! I took a 4 month break last year too as I felt really overwhelmed and was putting so much pressure on myself to write. So glad to see you doing such an anscinb advocacy job and writing again!

    1. Thank you so much; I’m glad you like it.

It’s nice to know that I’m not the only person who really struggles with blogging consistently, year-round, but it sucks to know that you were feeling as overwhelmed with the community as I was. I think the key is to remember why you’re writing when the going gets tough. It’s definitely what made me want to come back to the one thing I’d abandoned for so long.

      Thank you so much!

  4. nothing wrong with taking your time and having a fresh start! congrats on the re launch, looking forward to see what the future brings for your lovely blog! Hugs!

  5. Taking a step back is sometimes the hardest thing to do. So congrats on having the courage to do that. And another congrats for having the courage to return with a new and fresh take on the blogging journey. I wish you the absolute best!

    1. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who struggles to blog consistently. That’s why I’ve taken away my schedule, because ultimately, it was making it difficult for me to keep up posting regularly for long periods of time. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy future content!

    1. Thank you so much! I prefer this one much more than my old one, that’s for sure. I’ve always enjoyed blogging, for the most part, so fingers crossed!

    1. Most of the time I still feel like a newbie blogger, even with 56 blog posts behind me to date, haha. I’m sorry to hear you also struggle a lot with your mental health. Yeah, I definitely agree; recovery is so much harder than just planning to do so.

  6. I’m sorry to hear that your mental health took a dip. The great thing about blogging is that its something you can take breaks from and you know when you return there will be people here for you, ready to catch up on new posts. The blogging community is great that way! I’m just back from a 10 month break myself and it feels good to write again. I hope it helps you as much as its currently helping me.
    Best Wishes!

    1. Thank you! Yeah, the blogging community has been so supportive of me in the past few months. It’s meant so much to me, even when I wasn’t uploading regularly. I’m glad to see you’re back blogging, too; it seems like a lot of bloggers are coming back after a hiatus, which is always a good thing. It’s helping me so far, giving me something to distract myself with. I’m glad yours is doing the same!

  7. Congratulations on your relaunch.I find I have to take a bunch of small breaks through the year to keep me emotionallyrics able to keep blogging. I don’t think pe who don’t blog will ever know how much work they really are and what a toll it can take on you. Add In any sort of health issue, it’s tough.

    1. Thank you so much! I sympathise with your struggles to keep up with the workload that blogging demands; like you said, you don’t understand unless you live it. Of course, you can do as much or as little as possible, but it’s never a case of pressing publish and waiting for the views to come in. If only, hey? It’s definitely tough. I hope you’re doing well at the moment.

  8. I’ve just found your blog but I’m glad you are feeling good and relaunching it! Everybody needs a break every once in a while and blogging is the kind of personal thing where if you want to skip a day or two, then you totally should feel okay about it. I’m sure your posts are gonna be great no matter what! 💕

    1. Aw, welcome to my blog! I hope you stick around and read more of my upcoming posts. What you’ve said is definitely true–there’s nothing wrong with taking some time off every now and again! thank you so much.

    1. Yes, I’m trying to get back on top of things. I still have some very bad days, but I’m trying, and that’s the main thing, haha! I’m glad you like my new design; thanks for the feedback. X

  9. Welcome back to blogging! 💖 Your new theme and Iogo looks fantastic, I love the colours. It’s good to have a fresh start sometimes. Looking forward to reading your posts Rebekah (by the way, that’s my name too, nice to find someone that spells it the same way as I do 😄) xx

    1. Thank you so much! I’m glad you like my new theme and logo.
Ooh, that’s super interesting! I’ve met a few people who spell it Rebekka while blogging, but never someone who spells it exactly the same way as I do. I personally believe it’s the best way of spelling it, isn’t it? That’s probably made me excited, haha! Thanks for stopping by.

  10. Welcome back to blogging! It’s always good to get a fresh start because you’ll have a new mindset coming in! I like the theme you’ve incorporated. The purple and blue is a gorgeous mix! Sending you the best wishes with your blogging journey :).

    1. Thank you so much. You’re SO right; a break can do the world of good when it comes to blogging. Thanks for the feedback about my colour-scheme, and the good luck!

    1. Aw, thank you so much. I’m glad you like my blog. It’s definitely been true for me; I’m so inspired to write that that’s all I want to do. If it wasn’t for college, it would be so tempting… haha!

    1. Thank you so much! Aw, I’m glad you’ve decided to stick around; I hope you don’t end up disappointed, haha. That’s why I took the decision to go for affiliate marketing. I don’t want to sell out, not by a long shot, but self-funding is far too expensive. You’ll need to upgrade to a self-hosted plan, but there’s so much out there that you could always plan to make back your money so you have a general business plan when you first switch over! You’re welcome to contact me if you need any help.

  11. I don’t know what happened or what you are going through, but I hope you are doing better and if not I hope things get better for you in the future.

Running a blog can be tough so please don’t stress yourself out too much, you deserve better than that.

  12. Feeling like you’re in control of your blog is 100% necessary and 100% OK! If you need to take a break once in a while, that’s ok too 🙂 A great read, excited to see more from you. Also considering putting up affiliate links on my page soon – let me know how it works out for ya ;D

    1. Yeah, I completely agree with that; when you’re not in complete control of your blog, you know it’s time to step back and take a breather for a while, or switch things up… or both, as the case may be. I’m glad you’re excited to see more from me! I haven’t put many up yet, but I’ll be sure to update you if/when anything comes from them. I hope it works out for you, too!

    1. Hello Thomas! I’m glad you enjoyed my post over on Lydia’s blog. I hope you like the posts I’ve written on my blog just as much. You can find the ones I’ve previously written about autism by clicking the categories list at the top, and then heading down until you find autism.

  13. Welcome back Rebekah. I look forward to reading your posts. Thanks for the remainder really need to get back to Instagram.

    1. Thank you!

Instagram is such a fun platform once you forget about the statistics. Perhaps that’s bad advice, but it’s really helped me stop taking it so seriously.
